Sample 4th Grade Math Worksheet

Below is a free sample worksheet from our 4th grade math curriculum. It is only one of many worksheets that are automatically assigned to students in this grade level based on their Assessment Test results and their progress through our curriculum. Each worksheet is designed to take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete. We recommend students do at least 3 worksheets per week, though you can complete as many as you want using the MINDsprinting system.

The lesson below is a web friendly reproduction of our worksheet. When you enroll, all lessons are served in PDF format and are designed to be printed out and completed by hand.

Lesson M36-1 - Even Division: Two By One Digits - 1 1. Divide: 63 by 3. - Multiply: What number multiplied by 3 (divisor) will get me close to 6 or to 6? We write the digit 2 (in the quotient) above the digit 6. Now multiply the divisor (3) by the first digit in the quotient (2). 3 x 2 = 6. Write the answer underneath the first digit of the dividend. - Bring down: The next step is to bring down the 3 from the dividend. Page 1
 - Divide: 3 by 3. - Multiply: What number multiplied by 3 (divisor) will get me close to 3 or to 3? Now multiply the divisor (3) by the second digit in the quotient (1). 3 x 1 = 3. Write the answer underneath the digit 3 that you are subtracting. So, we write the digit 1 (in the quotient) above the digit 3. - Bring down: Now bring down the next digit in the dividend. Don't have any more digits? Then your answer is complete. So, 63 divided by 3 = 21. _________________________________ 1. Divide. Page 2 Copyright 2004-2011, MIND sprinting® LLC.
